Huge Disappointment: Ukraine's Zelenskyy On PM Modi-Putin Meet In Moscow
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday criticised the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russia's President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, labeling it a 'devastating setback for peace efforts.'
Taking to Twitter (formerly X) wrote,"In Ukraine today, 37 people were killed and 170 were injured, as a result of Russia's brutal missile strike... It is a huge disappointment and a devastating blow to peace efforts to see the leader of the world's largest democracy hug the world's most bloody criminal in Moscow on such a day."

Modi made his first visit to Russia since the outbreak of the Ukraine war, attending a private dinner hosted by Putin at the Russian president's residence in Novo-Ogarevo on the outskirts of Moscow on Monday night. In a video, both Modi and Putin were seen engaged in a warm conversation in an informal setting. Russian state-run media reported that Putin praised India's development and Modi's recent reelection for a third term in office.
India has refrained from condemning Russia's attack on Ukraine, consistently advocating for a resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy. Last month, Modi met with Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Italy. The prime minister reiterated India's stance, emphasizing support for a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict through dialogue and diplomacy, pledging to continue efforts toward that end.
