Biden Questions Whether Netanyahu is Delaying Israel Peace Deal to Affect 2024 US Election

President Joe Biden expressed strong opinions about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, questioning if the Israeli leader is delaying a Middle East peace agreement to influence the 2024 US presidential election. "No administration has helped Israel more than I have, none. None, none. And I think Bibi should remember that," Biden stated, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname. He added uncertainty about Netanyahu's intentions regarding the election.

Biden's remarks came during a rare appearance in the White House press briefing room. He was responding to concerns raised by Senator Chris Murphy, who suggested that Netanyahu might be linking his actions to US politics. Murphy commented, "I do not think you have to be a hopeless cynic to read some of Israel's actions, some of Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions, as connected to the American election."
