AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi In Bahrain Says Terrorism Emanates From Pakistan
AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, as a part of an all-party delegation, has been actively voicing India's zero tolerance stand against terrorists at the global level. A delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda aims to shed light on the persistent issue of cross-border terrorism, primarily emanating from Pakistan. During the discussions, Asaduddin Owaisi said the root of terrorism faced by India lies in Pakistan. He said neighbouring country is continuously supporting, funding, and promoting terrorist groups.
Expressing India's firm position, Owaisi added that India is ready to counter any threats from Pakistan with a response beyond their expectations. Highlighting the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Owaisi said numerous innocent people lost their lives because of terrorism, and stressed the need for Pakistan to cease its support to terrorist outfits for the menace to end.

The delegation, which includes representatives from various political affiliations, is tasked with reaching out to the international community to expose Pakistan's designs and India's robust counter-terrorism efforts.
Reflecting on the Human Cost of Terrorism
Owaisi, during his interaction, also brought attention to the human tragedy inflicted by terrorism, recalling the Pahalgam attack where 26 tourists lost their lives, leaving new brides widowed in a stark reminder of the personal toll of such acts. This narrative was part of his broader appeal for global cooperation against terror financing, specifically calling on the Bahrain government to support efforts to re-list Pakistan on the FATF grey list. The utilization of financial resources to fund terrorism was a critical point of concern for Owaisi.
India's Defensive Strength and International Cooperation
Moreover, Owaisi lauded India's defensive capabilities, including its air defense systems, which have successfully intercepted threats from across the border. His statements reflected confidence in India's technological and warfare capabilities to protect its citizens and those residing within its borders. Owaisi labeled Pakistan as a 'failed state' for its role in promoting terrorism and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in combating terror financing.
The all-party delegation, one of seven such groups, is part of India's comprehensive strategy to counter global misinformation about its zero-tolerance policy on terrorism. These delegations have been visiting global capitals, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria, to engage with international leaders on India's response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and its broader fight against cross-border terrorism. The delegation's mission is to ensure that the international community understands the gravity of the threat posed by Pakistan's actions and supports India's efforts in combating terrorism.
