24 fishermen missing in Bangladesh as cyclone Komen hits coast
Dhaka, July 31: At least 24 fishermen went missing in Bangladesh's Bhola after their trawlers capsized due to cyclone Komen, media reported.
A rescue operation is yet to be launched to search them due to bad weather, Bdnews24 reported on Friday.

"We got missing report about fishermen," said Kukrimukri Police Camp SI Nur Mohammad.
The actual number of missing fishermen is yet to be confirmed. Bhola's adjoining rivers Meghna and Tetulia were flowing above normal levels due to the effect of the tropical storm.
"People from remote and isolated sand banks being moved to safe locations," said Bhola's Deputy Commissioner Md Selim Reza
"A number of local voluntary organisations have been kept on alert to deal with the situation after the storm."
He added trawlers were instructed to move to safe locations.
