Drunkest nation in the world: India ranks 6th, UK tops major global survey

New Delhi, May 17: A survey by an independent UK pollster has revealed that Britons get drunk more often than anyone in world.
The May 2019 Global Drug Survey, conducted last October through December among nearly 124,000 people, has revealed that Britons on average reported getting drunk 51 times last year.
On average, People in the United States said they got drunk 50 times in the 12-month period. Canadians reported 48 times and Australians 47 times, while Indians got drunk 41 times.
Those behind the report believe it may be time to introduce guidelines on how to get drunk safely.
