Woman locks herself in Pune-Delhi Duronto Express train bathroom to escape molestation by Army man

In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly molested by an army personnel in a moving train on the way to Delhi from Rajasthan on Saturday. The incident happened when the woman was travelling alone from Kota to the capital city's Hazrat Nizamuddin station in a Duronto Express train.

The Railway Protection Force arrested the man from Nizamuddin railway station after the victim said that she was allegedly molested on board Pune-Delhi Duronto Express.

The victim alleged that the army subedar tried to inappropriately touch her, police officials said. She also alleged that the accused was consuming liquor with his friends and to save herself, she locked herself inside a toilet.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered under sections of molestation and the man was arrested.
