Saudi Arabia, Oct 9: A woman exposed his husband who was cheating his wife. She caught the man in compromising position with their maid. A case has been filed against the man who was sent to jail.

The above mentioned incident is a normal outcome of any story. But what happens when the wife and not the husband is being sent to jail?

Such bizarre incident took place in Saudi Arabia. A woman uploaded a video on YouTube. In the video, her husband was seen trying to molest their maid.

In the video, the man was seen making sexual advantages towards their maid and domestic help was trying to escape from his grasp.

While uploading the video online, the enraged and disappointed wife wrote, "The minimum punishment for this husband is to scandalise him."

The video has gone viral. Everyone expected that the husband would face punishment. But to everyone's surprise, it was the wife who was arrested, fined and was sent to jail.

A lawyer was quoted as saying, "She faces up to one year in prison or a fine of SR500,000 (£87,214) for defaming her husband in line with the law on information technology crimes."

He also added, "This law includes stiff punishment for anyone using mobile phones with camera or other equipment to photograph others and defame them."
