Weather forecast for Aug 16: Chennai rains to reduce now

New Delhi, Aug 15: Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai for August 16.

Bengaluru:
The capital city of Karnataka, Bengaluru has been receiving on and off light rains. As per Skymet weather, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Kerala, and Coastal Karnataka are likely to see heavy to very heavy showers during the next 24 hours. Maximum & minimum temperatures very likely to be around 24 and 21 degree Celsius respectively. However, the humidity will be around 87 percent.

Delhi:
As per Skymet weather, Short spell rain or thundershower is likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Northeast Rajasthan and plains of Uttar Pradesh. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 33 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 76 percent.

Hyderabad:
Rains have once again commenced over Telangana as well as over the capital city Hyderabad. As per Skymet weather, Jharkhand, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan Goa, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttarakhand will see light to moderate rains with few heavy spells. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature would be recorded around 26 degree Celsius and humidity around 913percent.

Mumbai:
Maharashtra has been receiving continuous rains for the last couple of days. In the last day, rains have increased over Vidarbha that received light to moderate showers with isolated heavy. As per predicted by Skymet Weather, Mumbai may receive scattered light rains with one or two places getting a short spell of moderate showers as well. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 29 degree Celsius and humidity around 82 percent.

Chennai:
The city of Chennai does not record very good monsoon rains during the Southwest monsoon period. As per Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, weathermen at Skymet suggest that rainfall activity will reduce over Chennai and rainfall will be light with a few moderate spells only. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 35 degree Celsius and humidity around 59 percent.
