Video: This isn't the first time Ashutosh has broken down on television
New Delhi, April 24: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh made the headlines on Friday after he broke down on television while regretting the death of Ganjendra Singh, the farmer from Dausa, Rajasthan, who committed suicide in his party's rally at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday. [Ashutosh cried profusely on television]
Ashutosh, while speaking to a news channel, urged to politicians not to play politics over the death of the farmer saying that would not do any good to anybody. [Kejriwal should apologise for playing petty politics too]
However, this is not the first time that Asutosh, a journalist-turned-politician, has broken down on television. In December 2012, when a 23-year-old medical student was violently gangraped in a moving bus in the national capital late in the night and massive protests broke out, Ashutosh, who was a news anchor in a Hindi channel then, was seen choking and breaking down during a show.
