Verdict in Salman Khan case: Fans pray for a verdict in favour of Salman Khan
New Delhi, May 6: Not only the family members, even the fans of Bollywood actor Salman Khan are praying for a verdict in favour of Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan's younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma extended thanks to her brother's die-hard fans for their relentless support, ahead of the verdict in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving him.
"Today is a big day for us & we know we are not alone. Thank you for your Dua's, love & support always. God bless!" tweeted Arpita, who recently got married to Aayush Sharma in a lavish ceremony hosted by Salman.
On September 28, 2002 Salman's car had allegedly rammed into a bakery in suburban Bandra, killing one person and injuring, four others who were sleeping outside.
The film industry is keeping its fingers crossed as an investment of about Rs 200 crore is riding on the "Dabangg" star.
His two upcoming films, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" which stars Kareena Kapoor and "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo" opposite Sonam Kapoor, are currently in the last "schedule" of shooting.
After Sanjay Dutt, Salman is the second big star from Hindi film industry to get embroiled in a high-profile criminal case in recent years.
The "Wanted" star is also facing trial in a Rajasthan court for hunting a black buck during the shooting of "Hum Saath Saath Hain".
