Uttar Pradesh: Teenager Killed By Falling Off Bicycle As Two Men Drag Her Stole

A horrific incident of two men killing a teenage girl on the streets of Ambedkar Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh has taken the internet by storm.

The video that is viral on social media shows two men travelling on a motorcycle pulling the girl's dupatta causing her to fall on the ground. As a result, the girl who was riding a cycle loses her balance and falls down. Later a motorcycle comes from behind and hits her badly.

The girl who suffered severe head injuries, and a broken jaw died on spot. However, the accused were arrested by the police and taken into custody.

The accident took place near Hirapur market in the Hanswar police station area. According to the police, the girl died on spot after being hit by the motorcycle that rammed her from behind. An investigation has been taking place in connection with the incident.

The UP Police arrested the three accused on the basis of CCTV footage. The accused have been identified as Faisal, Shahbaz and Arbaaz. A case has been registered against the three accused.

The three accused have been taken for a medical examination on Sunday. Meanwhile, the accused try to flee by allegedly snatching a police rifle. However, the UP Police fired the accused in retaliation, hitting and injuring two while the third accused was injured on his leg by the gunshot fired by the police during their attempt to escape.

"The three, while trying to escape, also fired upon the police personnel," Ajit Kumar Sinha, Ambedkar Nagar Superintendent of Police (SP) was quoted saying.

The police reportedly said that the three accused have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
