UP Horror: 6-year-old girl forgets to cover head, father beats her to death

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 4: A father killed his 6-year-old daughter as she forgot to cover her head while having dinner.

The shocking incident took place in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. The accused has been identified as Zafar, allias Chand Miyan. Police arrested him following the complaint filed by his wife.

It has been reported that Zafar had compelled women in the family to follow strict rules. Women of his family were not allowed to go out.

None was allowed to enter the house without Zafar's permission. Women of the house were told to wear veils at all times.

Zafar's 6-year-old girl too was told to follow the rules. However, she forgot to cover her head while having food on the day when she was beaten to death.

An eye-witness was quoted as saying, "The husband got furious and hit the wife. Then he beat his daughter to death."

The accused currently is in police custody and according to investigating officers, the accused seems to be a mental patient.
