Two Bikers Steal Rs 78.41 Lakh from Cash Collection Van in Chhattisgarh Incident
Two men on a motorcycle stole Rs 78.41 lakh from a cash van in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district. The robbery took place at about 5 pm at a liquor store in Khokhra village, according to police. During the heist, a security guard was shot in the foot.

The cash van was collecting money from liquor shops and had three people inside: an employee of a private firm, a security guard, and a driver. When they reached the liquor shop, the employee and driver went inside, leaving the guard outside near the vehicle.
Robbery Details and Police Response
Suddenly, two robbers on a motorcycle arrived and shot the guard in the leg, injuring him. They then took a box of cash from the van. Before fleeing, they threatened bystanders with a gun. The robbers later discarded the empty cash box nearby after taking Rs 78.41 lakh.
The injured security guard was taken to a hospital for treatment. In response to the robbery, police have established checkpoints at various locations to catch the culprits. Efforts are ongoing to track down those responsible for this crime.
