Two Arrested In Amritsar For Leaking Military Secrets To Pakistan
The Amritsar Rural Police detained two people on May 3 for allegedly giving Pakistani intelligence officers access to private military data, including images of Army cantonments and air bases, marking a significant advancement in counter-espionage measures.
Suraj Masih and Palak Sher Masih have been named as the culprits, who allegedly had direct communication with Pakistani handlers. Both individuals were acting under the supervision of Harpreet Singh, popularly known as Pittu or Happy, who is presently incarcerated at Amritsar Central Jail, according to preliminary findings.

According to officials, the accused posed a major threat to national security by revealing crucial strategic details and high-security images. Under the Official Secrets Act, a case has been filed, and an investigation is presently in progress.
As the investigation progresses, further arrests are anticipated since authorities believe the two were involved in a larger espionage network.
