Sitaram Yechury Health Update: CPIM Leader Shifted To Ventilator At Delhi AIIMS, Condition Critical
Veteran CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury's health has deteriorated, and he has been shifted to a ventilator at AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi, according to reports on Thursday. The 72-year-old, who was admitted to AIIMS on August 19, is in critical condition and is being monitored by a team of seven doctors.

Sources cited by PTI reported that Yechury was hospitalized three days ago for a lung infection and placed on a ventilator after experiencing breathing difficulties. While he was initially admitted for treatment of a pneumonia-like infection, the hospital has not revealed the exact nature of his illness.
Currently, Yechury remains in the intensive care unit, where his condition is being closely observed by medical experts.
