Sheena Bora Murder: Indrani Mukerjea in more trouble; now driver ready to expose Truth

Mumbai, Oct 20: Months after their arrests, Indrani Mukerjea's driver Shyam Rai reportedly told court that he would reveal the "truth". It has been reported that the reality would be "exposed" if Shyam Rai reveals the truth.

Shyam Rai reportedly sent a written application in which he expressed his desire to tell everything in connection with sensational Sheena Bora murder case.

Shyam Rai was the driver of former media baron Indrani Mukerjea. He allegedly had helped Indrani who was accused of killing her daughter Sheena in 2012.

Indrani, her driver and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna (another accused) were arrested in Aug 2015 and were sent to judicial custody.

The advocate, who is representing Sanjeev Khanna in court, recently was quoted as saying, "I have just been told that he (Shyam Rai) has sent an application saying that he wants to speak to the court."

Earlier it was reported that it was Indrani's driver who, during a drunken state, had told everything to an auto driver who later became informer for the Mumbai Police.

Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das. When she got married to former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea, she had introduced Sheena as her sister.

Later Indrani allegedly had killed Sheena and disposed of her body in a jungle near Mumbai. Though the incident took place in 2012, Mumbai Police arrested the trio in 2015.

Currently, the investigative agency, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been probing the case and CBI officials received permission to interrogate Indrani, Shyam and Sanjeev in jail.
