Bengaluru, May 8: Bombay High Court to hear Salman Khan's bail plea in hit-and-run case today. HC had granted 2-day interim bail to Khan on Wednesday.

11:00 pm: ‎The J Jayalalithaa verdict in the disproportionate assets case will be pronounced on May 11 by the Karnataka High Court at 11 AM. Justice C Kumaraswamy will deliver the verdict at 11 AM Ton Monday.
As per the notification issued by the Karnataka High Court the special vacation single judge bench of Justice Kumaraswamy will pronouncement the verdict in relation to the criminal appeals.

10:15 pm: ‎The Revenue Department officials today recovered land around the dried up Thindlu lake in Bengaluru South which was allegedly encroached by several persons including Infosys.

A compound wall built around the encroached land was demolished by the Revenue Department officials. The officials said that they had recovered land worth Rs 75 crore. Infosys however clarified that they are looking into the matter and also stated that the land was granted to them following a survey by the survey department.

The revenue department said that several persons had encroached land which included private parties and agriculturists.

The high court is currently on vacation and will have to convene a special sitting for the verdict. The cause list of the court has not yet been updated.
