Rajasthan fuel supply update: LPG, petrol, diesel, and ATF stocks adequate, officials say

Officials in Rajasthan say supplies of LPG, petrol, diesel, and aviation turbine fuel remain adequate despite global pressure linked to the West Asia conflict. Oil marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited are monitoring depots, retail outlets, and airports, with replenishment aligned to consumption trends.

Officials said Rajasthan has enough LPG, petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel ATF. Supply continued without disruption despite strain on global supply chains. The strain followed the conflict in West Asia. The assurance came on Monday during a press conference. The event aimed to explain the supply position and ease public concern.

Manoj Gupta, Executive Director and State Head Oil Industry Coordinator, briefed mediapersons. Gupta said Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited kept adequate stock. Stocks were held at retail outlets and storage points statewide. Gupta said supply operations were under close watch to keep distribution steady.

Rajasthan fuel supply stocks across depots and petrol pumps

Officials said 12 depots and supply centres met Rajasthan’s fuel demand. Facilities operated from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Bharatpur, Kota and Ajmer. Teams tracked sales patterns and refilled stocks as required. Officials said petrol pumps received regular replenishment. They said these steps supported smooth day-to-day supply.

Officials also said aviation turbine fuel ATF stock remained sufficient at all airports. Deliveries to airports continued without delays. Coverage levels were maintained to match demand. The officials linked this to routine monitoring and timely stock movement. They said airport fuel supply in the state stayed stable.

Rajasthan LPG supply and cylinder delivery for consumers

On LPG, Gupta said domestic cylinder availability remained adequate. Deliveries were made as per consumer bookings. Rajasthan had 13 bottling plants, 1,376 LPG distributors and over 11,000 delivery personnel. These networks served around 1.85 crore consumers. Gupta said the average backlog stayed near four days.

Officials said panic bookings and higher demand were being handled through monitoring. Stocks were replenished to maintain deliveries. Officials added that booking interval restrictions remained in force. The limit was 25 days for urban areas and 45 days for rural areas. Officials said the rule supported fair distribution.

To manage deliveries, officials said the Delivery Authentication Code DAC was now mandatory. Consumers were advised to use digital channels for refills. The options included IVRS, SMS, WhatsApp and online portals. Gupta said non-domestic and commercial LPG supply stayed near 70 per cent. The level followed guidelines from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Rajasthan government.

Officials urged consumers not to panic about availability. They said fuel and LPG supplies across Rajasthan remained stable. Officials linked the position to adequate stocking by oil marketing companies. They also pointed to routine checks at pumps, depots and airports. Officials said monitoring would continue to prevent disruptions.
