Politician tries to live his dream by lying down on bundles of money

According to reports, Jogendranagar committee member of the CPI (M), Samar Acharjee, was shown lying on bundles of currency notes in a television footage.
In the footage, Acharjee was heard saying that "I have withdrawn 20 lakhs from my bank account and fulfilled my long cherished dream of sleeping on a bed of money."
But what seemed to have angered his party members is his claim on a telecast on Thursday "I am not a hypocrite like other party members, who depict themselves as proletariat and yet have a huge amount of money."
He withdrew Rs 20 lakhs from his personal account and lay on it
Bijan Dhar, CPI (M) state secretary said that investigations show that Acharjee himself took the video on his phone and the footage was later leaked to a television channel by his friend.
The party criticized the footage and said that they do not support this kind of immoral work.
However seizing the opportunity Congress member Ratan Lal Nath said : "The incident shows that the party is corrupt and its leaders made a huge amount of money by misusing the public funds." He has demanded an inquiry in the matter.
