Police announce Rs 25k reward for info on man molesting DU student in bus
Delhi Police has announced a Rs 25,000 reward for information about the unidentified man who was seen molesting a Delhi University (DU) student in a bus last week. However, the identity of the informant will be kept anonymous.

The girl student had filmed the act and uploaded the video on social media causing widespread outcry. She had lodged an FIR with police over alleged molestation.
Following which, a case under sexual harassment and performing obscene act in public was registered at Vasant Vihar police station on February 10.
The incident took place when the woman was returning home on February 7 on a DTC bus.
An elderly man was sitting next to her and leaned against her. The woman moved in her seat to avoid contact with him but he leaned against her again. The accused then used a bag to hide his action from others while making his private part visible to the woman alone.
The victim said,''I was travelling in crowded bus when a man sitting next to me was molesting me. I was left stunned but then I made a video of the incident & posted it on social media to make people aware of the incident. People don't even consider something like this a form of sexual harassment.''
The complainant claimed that he ignored the man when he was misbehaving with her but was shocked when she saw him unzipping his pants. Meanwhile, a police investigation into the incident is underway.
