PM Modi: 'Corrupt' YSRCP Govt in Andhra Pradesh to End After June 4

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a roadshow, made a bold statement regarding the political future of the YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh. He expressed that due to widespread dissatisfaction with corruption, cronyism, and mafia raj, the YSRCP's tenure would conclude post-June 4. Modi attributed these issues to the party's strong ties with Congress culture, which he believes has only exacerbated the state's challenges.

Following his travels across Andhra Pradesh, Modi observed a significant inclination towards the NDA alliance, comprising the TDP, BJP, and Janasena. He highlighted the enthusiastic support from women and young voters as a driving force behind this trend. The Prime Minister reminisced about the roadshow as memorable and emphasized the coalition's commitment to futuristic development.

The NDA's vision for Andhra Pradesh includes enhancing agricultural productivity, boosting industrial growth, and making notable advancements in the services sector. Modi underscored the coalition's aim to harness the entrepreneurial spirit prevalent in the state. Furthermore, he outlined plans for leveraging Andhra Pradesh's coastline for port-led development, focusing on the fisheries sector and prioritizing next-generation infrastructure.

Earlier in the day, Modi initiated his roadshow from Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, NTR district, amid stringent security measures. The event saw participation from Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu. The trio engaged with crowds of NDA supporters, marking Modi's fourth electoral engagement in Andhra Pradesh within a span of two days.

The upcoming simultaneous elections for the 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for May 13, with results to be declared on June 4. This political event has garnered significant attention, reflecting the dynamic nature of India's democratic processes.
