People sleep during Mayawati's speeches: Akhilesh

An acrimonious verbal battle between the Samajwadi Party, the BSP and the BJP continued in poll bound Uttar Pradesh on Sunday with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav taking a jibe at Mayawati. Akhilesh said that people attending the BSP chief's election rallies sleep during her speech.

In a seperate rally in Ballia, Mayawati attacked both the SP and the BJP. She said that the BJP would impose RSS's ideology if voted to power and end reservation.
The BSP supremo then took potshots at the feud in Yadav clan and said SP would be shocked at the assembly polls result and would need 'oxygen'.

Meanwhile in Jaunpur, SP leader and Akhilesh's wife Dimple Yadav attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Mann ki Baat and Shamshaan-Kabristaan remark. She aslo raked up the issue of rise on LPG cylinder prices.

Recently, Modi had created a political stir when he accused the rival SP of indulging in caste and communal politics.
"If a Kabristan is built in a village, so should there be a Shamshaan. If there is electricity in Ramzan, it should also be there on Diwali; there should be no discrimination," the PM had said at an election rally in UP.
