Over 24 hospitalised after chlorine gas leak in Uttarakhand
Over 20 persons complained of giddiness and uneasiness after the gas was leaked. The entire staff was evacuated from the premises and affected were rushed to a hospital.
More than 24 people have been hospitalised after Chlorine gas leakage at Dehradun's Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan on Friday.
Chief Minister of Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has assured the situation is under control.

The chlorine gas cylinders that leaked were meant to be used to purify drinking water. Following the disaster, fire personnel brought the situation under control by disposing of the gas cylinders into water.
The Managing Director of Jan Sansthan said an inquiry is being conducted into the gas leak at the water works. Residences of officials of the Jal Sansthan are located close to the water works at Dilaram Chawk.
