ONGC-Rajahmundry extends financial aid to village
Rajamahendravaram (AP), Aug 16: As part of its CSR campaign, ONGC-Rajahmundry is extending financial assistance to Badava village in West Godavari district for renovation of water filter beds.
"It is envisaged that the project will secure drinking water supply to 2,678 residents of the village," an ONGC release said here today.

"The villagers of this village have been suffering from water borne diseases frequently. And the village administration, with the help from ONGC, would be able to tackle this health concern successfully," Palakolu MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu said. As per the release, Director (Onshore) V P Mahawar handed over a cheque of Rs 14 lakh towards the project to Secretary, Badava grampanchayat.
