M K Stalin walks out with torn shirt, alleges manhandling
He also accused Speaker Dhanapal of tearing his shirt himself and blaming the DMK MLAs for it
DMK MLAs led by their executive leader M K Stalin walked out of the assembly after being forcefully evicted by the police. Stalin alleged that he and his MLAs were manhandled by the police forcing them out of the assembly.

"The assembly was adjourned till 3 pm and we chose to stay back, but by 2 pm, the police entered the house and started evicting us using force. The additional commissioner used force against a DMK MLA," he said as he exhibited his torn shirt to cameras outside the assembly. Stalin's allegations came as the assembly was adjourned for the second time for the day as the vote of confidence motion was moved by Palanisamy.

Stalin accused Speaker Dhanapal of tearing his shirt himself and blaming the DMK MLAs for it. "The speaker tore off his shirt and is now accusing the DMK MLAs of it. I even apologised for the ruckus and asked for a secret ballot but we were manhandled. We will meet the governor and appraise him of the situation here," he added.
These allegations come after his MLAs raised a pandemonium in the house tearing up papers, throwing microphone and chairs. They were also caught on camera heckling the Speaker after which he staged a walkout. The speaker has now suspended DMK members from the house.
