Lucknow, Jan 7: Sandeep Kashyap, a resident of Ghadi Sanjar Khan village in Malihabad was not aware that it would be his last dinner with his family on Sunday night. The boy received a call from his girlfriend, a resident of Badaura village, while he was having dinner and they both decided to meet at her home in the darkness of the night. Sandeep left, but never returned.

Caught by the relatives of the girl, while trying to jumping out of the boundary wall of the house, Sandeep was brutally thrashed to death with wooden sticks while his girlfriend was holed up in the house. Kashyap's family arrived to his rescue, but it was too late.

Kashyap was rushed to the local community healthcare centre but was later referred to KGMU's trauma centre. Kashyap breathed his last in the wee hours of Monday morning.

Kashyap's brother Vipin has filed a case against the girl's father Pyarelal, Jeetendra, Ranjeet, Rajaram, Sonu and Pattu. The police has slapped charges amounting to rioting and murder against the six.

Police added further,"the group had been arrested from Nazarnagar crossing around 4 pm on Monday and the wooden stick used to attack Kashyap have been recovered."

Kashyap visited the girl in secrecy for the past 45 days.
