Lok Sabha polls dates: Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Odisha, WB

New Delhi, March The election commission of India announced the dates of Lok Sabha election 2014 today. The elections will be held in 9 phases, from April 7 till May 12. Here are the details of the polls in Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Rajasthan.

Jharkhand

Elections will be held in three phases in the state - 10, 17 and 24 April.

On 10 April, Chatra, Kodarma, Lohardoga, Palamau and Hazaribagh constituencies will be covered.

On 17 April, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Singhbum, Khunti and Giridih constituencies will be covered.

On 24 April, Rajmahal, Dumka,Godda, Dhanbad will be covered.

Odisha

Elections in Odisha will be held in 2 phases.

On 10 April, elections will be held in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Aska, Berhampur , Koraput.

17 April, elections will be held in Keonjhar,Mayurbhanj ,Balasore,Bhadrak,Jajpur ,Dhenkanal,Cuttack,Kendrapara ,Jagatsinghpur,Puri and Bhubaneswar

Rajasthan

Elections in Rajasthan will be held in 2 phases.

On 17 April, polls will be held in Ganganagar, Bikaner, S, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Ajmer , Nagaur, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota,Jhalawar-Baran

On 24 April, these constituencies will have elections: Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, Tonk-Sawai, Madhopur

West Bengal

Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal will be held in 5 phases.

On 17 April, elections will be held in the folowing constituencies: Coochbehar, Alipurduars, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling

On 24 April, the following constituencies will have elections: Raiganj, Balurghat, Maldaha Uttar, Maldaha Dakshin, Jangipur, Murshidabad

On 30 April, elections will be held in the following constituencies: Howrah, Uluberia, Sreerampur,Hooghly, Arambag , Bardhaman, Bardhaman-Durgapur, Bolpur,Birbhum

On 7 May, the following constituencies will go to polls: Jhargram, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura, Bishnupu, Asansol

On May 12, Baharampur, Krishnanagar, Ranaghat, Bangaon, Barrackpur, Dum Dum, Barasat, Basirhat, Jaynagar, Mathurapur, Diamond Harbour, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar, Tamluk, Kanthi, Ghatal
