Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, and BRS leader K. Kavitha had their judicial custody extended on Wednesday in the excise policy case. The accused appeared via video conferencing from Tihar Jail as their previous custody period ended.
Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Court extended their judicial custody until August 9 for the CBI case and until August 13 for the money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Judicial Custody Extension
The Delhi High Court reserved its decision on a bail plea filed by CM Kejriwal on Monday. This plea is related to the corruption case initiated by the CBI. Earlier that day, the CBI presented its charge sheet against Kejriwal and other accused before a special court.
The ED had already named the AAP and its national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in its prosecution complaint regarding the money laundering case.
