Judicial Custody Extension

The Delhi High Court reserved its decision on a bail plea filed by CM Kejriwal on Monday. This plea is related to the corruption case initiated by the CBI. Earlier that day, the CBI presented its charge sheet against Kejriwal and other accused before a special court.

The ED had already named the AAP and its national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in its prosecution complaint regarding the money laundering case.

Supreme Court's Interim Bail Order

On July 12, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to CM Kejriwal in connection with the ED case. Despite this, he remained in jail due to his arrest by the CBI.
