Lalu Prasad to teach political science, management to inmates

The Hotwar jail supritendent in charge said that keeping in mind his health, age and political status, he would not be asked to do any hard work. "I will request him to teach the jailed criminals. It would be nice if he could teach them political science and management," he said.
Lalu has previously delivered lectures in management education at the Harvard Business School and also at the Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, when he was the Union Railway Minister.
Lalu holds a degree in political science from BN College in Patna.
The jail officials said that every year, the prisoners lodged in the jail, write their exams for arts, commerce and science degree courses through the open schooling system.
Lalu will not do heavy work while in prison
Lalu was awarded five years rigourous-imprisonment by a special CBI court on Thursday in the Rs 900-cr fodder scam and was also fined Rs 25 lakhs.
He becomes the second minister to be lose his membership of the Lok Sabha after Rasheed Masood was convicted and sentenced to four years in jail in the MBBS admission scam.
