Killer of Kashmiri Hindu gunned down by security forces in J&K

Sanjay Sharma was killed by terrorists two days back, in yet another case of targeted killing in the Valley

The terrorist who killed Kashmiri Hindu, Sanjay Sharma has been gunned down by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

The terrorist who was killed has been identified as Aqib Mushtaq Bhat of Pulwama, Kashmir Zone Police said while quoting ADGP Kashmir.

Bhat, according the police was initially working for the Hizbul Mujahideen. Off late he joined the The Resistence Front, a wing of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba. The killer of late Sanjay Sharma has been neutralised, the tweet by the Kashmir Zone Police read.

Prior to this Kashmir Zone Police confirmed that an encounter had broken out in Awantipora. One terrorist killed. Body of killed terrorist yet to be retrieved, the police had said in a tweet earlier.

Two days back 40-year old Kashmiri Hindu, Sanjay Sharma was shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama. It was yet another clear case of targeted assassination. Sanjay Sharma was shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama in the early hours of Sunday. He worked as an armed guard at a bank in his village in the Achan area. The incident took place when Sharma was going to the market. After being shot, he was shifted to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

The killing was claimed by the terror group Kashmir Freedom Fighters. The spokesperson of the terror groups issued a warning to Kashmiri Hindus and tourists of more such attacks. The spokesperson also referred to them as 'pawns of occupation.'

Warnings on lithium reserves:

In another development, the Anti-Fascist Front (AFF), a terror group issued a warning in the wake of lithium reserves being discovered in Jammu and Kashmir.

The statement read, "these resources belong to the people and should be and will be used for the betterment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir."

"People'sAnti Fascist Front wishes to reassure the Nation of Jammu and Kashmir that under no circumstances will we allow the colonial exploitation and theft of resources of Jammu and Kashmir at the hands of the ugly Hindutva thieves. These resources belong to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. No ugly Hindutva thief will be allowed to steal our resources and then kill us with the same. We will attack Indian companies that dare to venture into the troubled waters of Jammu and Kashmir not only inside Jammu and Kashmir, but also inside India and those who know us know that we will go to any lengths to fulfil our word," the statement read.
