Jobs in Telangana: Good news, 84,876 recruitments to start soon
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao provided some good news for those seeking jobs in the state. He announced that in addition to the 27,660 appointments already made, the government will soon initiate the recruitment process for another 84,876 jobs in the government sector.
This would ta ke the total tally of jobs being given to the unemployed after formation of the state to 1, 12,536, which is more than the 1 lakh jobs promise that the TRs had made during the separate state movement. "During the Telangana statehood movement, we thought we would be able to provide a lakh of jobs for the unemployed in the state. I thank all those who are joining together with us to realise the dream of Bangaru Telangana in which all the fruits of development will reach the last mile and to everyone,' Rao also said.
Meanwhile the TSPSC has issued a notification for the recruitment of 2,345 posts in various departments.
The state recruitment authority has so far appointed 27,660 candidates in various posts and 36,806 posts are in the process of recruitment. There are 48,070 vacancies which have to be recruited in the state.
The notification has been issued for various posts. They include vacancies in the medical, health and forest departments. In the medical and health department there are 331 vacancies. This includes opening for 205 civil assistant surgeons, 10 dental assistant surgeons, 65 tutors in directorate of medical education, lectures in radiological physics and physicists in director of medical education, 43 civil assistant surgeons in insurance medical services and two assistant physiotherapist in insurance medical service.
In the forest department there are over 2,000 vacancies.
