Jitan Ram Manjhi Welcomes Ex-Jharkhand CM Champai Soren To NDA Family; Fuels Rumours
Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi welcomed former Jharkhand chief minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) senior leader Champai Soren to the "NDA family" and described him as a "tiger". Champai Soren today arrived in Delhi which sparked speculation of him switching sides and joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
"Champai Da, you were a tiger, you are a tiger, and you will remain a tiger. Welcome to the NDA family," Manjhi posted on X.

A few hours ago, Champai Soren posted an emotional note on social media, claiming that he was "forced to look for an alternative path" after experiencing humiliation as chief minister. He mentioned that all his government programmes were cancelled by the party leadership without his knowledge.
Speculations and Reactions
Soren also mentioned that he received a blow to his self-respect when he was asked to resign as chief minister after Hemant Soren was released on bail. He stated that he was not aware of the agenda of the meeting where he was asked to resign.
Soren added that he was forced to search for an alternative path due to the insulting behavior he faced. He mentioned that he had three options: retire from politics, form his own separate organization, or continue with a companion on a new path.
Political Moves Ahead of Elections
It is rumored that Soren and several other JMM MLAs may join the BJP ahead of the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. However, when asked about his plan to join the BJP, Soren said he had no plane to go anywhere and asserted that he was where he was.
The political landscape in Jharkhand is set for significant changes as these developments unfold. The potential alliance between Soren and BJP could impact the dynamics of the upcoming elections.
