The two robbers, allegedly entered the house after breaking open the kitchen window's grill . When the man, a jeweller aised an alarm, he was stabbed nine times. His father was also assaulted.

The man's wife was also raped when she tried to raise an alarm.

While both have been admitted to the hospital, the man's condition is reportedly critical.
