Inebriated soldier sexually harasses woman on train; gives slip
Coimbatore, Dec 11: A soldier, suspected to be in an inebriated state, allegedly sexually harassed a woman on Thiruvananthapuram-Delhi Kerala Express on Friday and gave police the slip after she alerted railway officials.
According to police, the man was in the same reserved compartment with the woman. He reportedly teased and sexually harassed her in the wee hours today when most of the passengers were asleep.

The victim managed to alert Railway police at Thiruvananthapuram, who notified their counterparts at Erode and Coimbatore stations.
When the train reached Coimbatore Junction, city police and Government Railway Police searched all compartments, but failed to find the soldier, they said.
Police suspects that the accused might have got down at one of the stations en route. They are on a lookout for him based on the details on the reservation chart, police added.
