India Today Pre Poll Survey: How Many Seats Will Congress Win In Telangana If LS Polls Are Held Today?

The Congress, which registered a thumping victory in Telangana in Assembly polls, is predicted to do well in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state, according to The Mood of the Nation's February 2024 edition.

The Revanth Reddy-led government is expected to win 10 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats. However, the BRS will suffer a major blow as it is reduced to just three seats. The BJP is also expected to get 3 seats. The AIMIM is likely to win 1 seat.

In 2019 polls, the BRS had won 9 followed by the BJP(4), Congress(3) and the AIMIM(1).

INDIA bloc is likely to secure 41 per cent of the votes while the NDA is expected to get 21 per cent votes. The BRS is likely to get 29 per cent votes.

The February 2024 issue of The Nation's Mood is based on a survey conducted across all Lok Sabha seats, with a total of 35,801 participants. The survey took place from December 15, 2023, to January 28, 2024.

On the other hand, The Times Now-Matrize survey has claimed that the Congress will win nine seats while the BJP will bag five seats with the BRS getting 2 seats. The AIMIM is likely to bag just one seat.

However, the ruling BJP-led NDA government is aiming to win 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. In order to touch the said number, the party should do increase its seat tally across the states.

Nonetheless, the surveys have clearly shown that the BJP will return for the third term.
