'Idhar-Udhar Jeet Gaye Hain, Agli Baar Sab Haarege': Nitish Kumar's Stern Warning To Opposition
In a stern message to the opposition, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar criticised those who have won seats in the recent elections, saying that they will lose next time. Kumar's statement came at a meeting of the NDA Parliamentary Committee, where Narendra Modi was elected the leader of the coalition.
"We are lucky to have someone like PM Modi to lead us," Kumar said, praising Modi's vision and leadership. "His vision has helped the NDA grow manifolds... Hence I propose the name of Narendra Modi as the Parliamentary Party leader of the BJP and NDA and the leader of the Lok Sabha."

Wow. What a speech by Nitish Kumar.

Kumar's strong words were directed at the opposition, which he believes did not serve the nation. "Those who have won these many seats (opposition) this time, all will lose next time when you will win (2029). They did not serve the nation. Only you worked," he said.

Nitish Kumar made a surprising statement at the meeting, saying that he wanted PM Modi to form the new government soon. "If possible, you should start the government today," he said. "Kisika idhar-udhar karne ka koi fayda nahi hai [There is no point in anyone trying to do any hanky panky]," he said in an apparent reference to the Opposition trying to woo him and Naidu.
Modi's third term as Prime Minister comes after the NDA's thumping 292-seat win in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The BJP alone won 240 seats.
