Babus will face action if SP loses Assembly polls: Akhilesh Yadav
Lucknow, Mar 19: It looks like incumbent Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav wants to win forthcoming Assembly poll at any cost. Reportedly, Akhilesh Yadav has warned babus saying that if his party would face defeat in coming poll then some officers will be punished.
Giving message of 'perform or perish'' to IAS officers, Yadav said that if SP witnesses fall in votes in any particular area, then officers will also have to face hardships.

Addressing bureaucrats during IAS week programme, Yadav said "I am aware that action against them pleases the public and will also fetch votes for my party in the coming elections. But we want to give a free hand to officers and work in a good atmosphere."
Emphasising the need for a "good atmosphere and free hand" to bureaucrats to work , Yadav further said that all the pending works should be completed within the fifth year of his government.
Taking a dig at previous Myawati government, CM said that unlike BSP and Modi Government he has given full freedom and a conducive atmosphere to officers.
"The officers should work hard and complete all the projects of this government and any delay would not be tolerated", CM said.
