Humanity shamed again: Elderly man rapes minor in Ghaziabad crèche, arrested

Ghaziabad, Jan 13: Humanity has been shamed yet again after an octogenarian man has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl many times in a crèche here.

Police arrested 62-year-old Arun Sinha, the father-in-law of the lady who runs a crèche at a residential society in Crossings Republik.

Police registered a criminal case against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Sinha was arrested after the girl, who had been going to the crèche for three months, complained to her parents about the man touching her inappropriately.

The victim used to call the accused dadu (grandfather).
