Hotel Fire Near Patna Railway Station Claims Six Lives, Several Others Injured
Six persons lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries in a devastating fire that engulfed a hotel near Patna railway station on Thursday. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Golambar in the Kotwali police station area. Prompt response from firefighting teams helped contain the blaze, with officials confirming that all injured individuals were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Rescue operations led by firefighting personnel and local law enforcement successfully evacuated numerous occupants from the hotel, with many taken to PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital) for further treatment.

Shobha Ahokar, Director General of Fire, reported that a total of 45 individuals were rescued from the hotel premises. Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have originated from a gas cylinder blast, raising concerns about the hotel's adherence to safety protocols.

Authorities have initiated a comprehensive fire audit of neighboring buildings as a precautionary measure. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation, with four individuals reported to be in critical condition due to burn injuries sustained during the incident.
