Hit-and-Run Shocker: 'If not Salman Khan, then who killed my father?'
Mumbai, Dec 11: Salman Khan has been acquitted from all charges in connection with the infamous hit-and-run case. But one question will definitely haunt the Bollywood star, his family and Indian judiciary.
The question, which is asked by Noorullah Khan's son Shaikh, is the most important question which should be answered at this moment. Noorullah Khan was the man who crushed to death when Salman's car hit him and others on Sept 28, 2002.
It was alleged that Salman, under the influence of alcohol, was driving the car when it had hit people lying on footpath. However, defence lawyer later claimed that it was Salman's driver Ashok Singh who was behind the wheel.
While acquitting the Bollywood superstar, the Bombay High Court said, "The trial court's verdict is quashed and set aside. Salman is acquitted of all charges."
Now, the victim's son asked, "For me the question that who killed my father still remains same even after 13 years. I am yet to get an answer for that."
