Haryana: NRI woman found dead in bathtub at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Surajkund

An NRI woman was found dead in the hotel bathtub in Vivanta by Taj in Surajkund, Faridabad district in Harayana.

The deceased has been identified as Ritu Kumar, who had been staying in this hotel from April 22.

The woman was married to a London-based businessman. The deceased originally hailed from Delhi's South Extension area, where her family still lives.

It is learnt that the Kumar had been living separately from her husband for a long time.

Reports say Kumar, who was in her early forties, had not responded to calls from her family members since yesterday morning. Later, when the hotlier checked the bathroom and found her dead body in bathtub.

Kumar's body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death, and her husband has arrived in India to assist police in the investigation.
