Grand nephew of Bhagat Singh, Abhitej Singh Sandhu dies in accident in Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, May 29: Abhitej Singh Sandhu, grand nephew of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh died on Sunday, May 29, in a fatal road accident in Rampur Bushahr area near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh.
Abhitej was a youth icon leader of People's Party in Punjab and he always wanted that Indian politics to be caste and religion free.
His fight was against the unfair system and the rising disparity that exists in the society today. He always reminded people and government about Bhagat Singh's fight for rising India.
Earlier, he also raised voiced against the BJP and Congress government so that they do not impose their policy and system on people of the country.
According to media report, Abhitej was critically injured in an accident while he was riding his motorbike.
Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal offered condolences over Abhitej's death. He wrote on Twitter, "May his soul rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to his family members."
