Girl killed, 6 injured as giant wheel trolley car crashes in Anantapur

In a tragic incidence, an 8-year-old girl was killed and 6 others severely injured after one of the cars of a giant wheel came loose and crashed to the ground during the ride at a fun fair in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur.

The victim has been identified as Amrutha, had gone to the local fun fair organised at a junior college ground in Anantapur. The fair was crowded as it was a weekend evening and summer vacations are on.

As per NDTV report, a bolt of the trolley car gave way, and it came crashing down. As it came down, it flung people, including children in the air. A video of the incident has also been widely circulated on various social media platforms.

The fair where the incident occurred was named 'Robo Animals Exhibition', reported The News Minute.
