Giriraj Singh's remark against Sonia exposes true colour of his training in BJP, RSS: Lalu Yadav
Patna, April 1: RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Wednesday described as "dirty politics" union minister Giriraj Singh's remark that the Congress accepted Sonia Gandhi as its leader as she has white skin.

"It is a dirty politics of Giriraj Singh, who belongs to the BJP and the RSS, which promote such kind of politics," Lalu Prasad told the media here.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal chief said by targeting Gandhi, Singh has exposed the true colour of his training in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

"It is very bad and dirty to target a woman in our culture," he said.
At an event in Bihar on Tuesday, Singh said: "If Rajiv Gandhi had married a Nigerian and if she wasn't white skin, would the Congress accept her (Sonia Gandhi) as a leader?"

The minister of state for micro, small and medium enterprises, however, added that it was an "off the record remark".
