Tata I-Shakti to offer "world's biggest ladoo" to Lord Ganesha

Mumbai, Sept 17: Tata I-Shakti Besan today said it will make the "world's biggest ladoo" weighing approximately 8,500 kg on the special occasion of Ganesh festival, which commences tomorrow.

The maha-ladoo will be offered to Lord Ganesha of Andhericha Raja Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal in Andheri West on September 22.

"In the true spirit of the festival known for ladoo delicacies, this maha-ladoo will be offered to Lord Ganesha and his devotees on September 22. Specially crafted for the occasion with low-oil absorb Tata I-Shakti Besan, this grand gesture is a perfect offering for one of India's most celebrated festivals," a company release said here.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Sridharan, Business Head, Consumer Products Business - Pulses, Tata Chemicals said, "This will be the biggest besan ladoo ever, weighing at approximately 8,500 kgs. Devotees of Lord Ganesha will be able to witness the full view of the king-size ladoo."
