The Adani Group is setting up the world's largest green energy park sprawled across an expansive 726 sq km in Gujarat's challenging Rann of Kutch desert area. Group Chairman Gautam Adani shared on X that this initiative aims to produce an impressive 30 GW of power, catering to over 20 million households.
Gautam Adani expressed pride in contributing significantly to India's renewable energy advancements. He highlighted the project's scale, extending over 726 sq km in the formidable Rann desert, even visible from space. The energy generated, powering millions of homes, underscores the Group's commitment to sustainable energy.

Adani further emphasized the establishment of an extensive renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem for solar and wind, situated just 150 km away in Mundra, their significant operational hub. This initiative represents a substantial stride in India's journey toward sustainable energy and aligns with initiatives like the Solar Alliance and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

This ambitious Adani Group venture is set to augment India's green energy capacity, contributing significantly to fulfilling its climate action commitments declared at COP26. India's commitments encompass reaching 500 GW of non-fossil electricity capacity, fulfilling half of its energy needs through renewables, slashing emissions by 1 billion tonnes by 2030, reducing emissions intensity of GDP by 45 percent, and ultimately achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.
