OMG! Flipkart did it again, sent stones instead of laptop twice within 24 hours

Bengaluru, June 16: Once again Flipkart made headlines, but for wrong reasons. This time the company has been accused of sending stones instead of laptops.

Complaints have been lodged against the company saying that Flipkart has sent stones twice within twenty four hours. The incident has been highlighted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

A man wrote on Twitter, "Ordered 3 lappy for our office,#flipkart nd only 1 came along with this rock."

Recently, Flipkart had sent two mangoes to one customer in Telangana. The man had ordered a mobile phone. He still has been struggling to get refund.

He had placed the order for an Asus phone, Zenfone 5, priced at Rs 8,099 during the mega sale conducted by the Flipkart on May 26. His order number was OD002947033911410000, claimed media reports.

When the man contacted Flipkart customer care service team, he was told that he would be refunded within 24 hours.

According to his statement, Flipkart told him, "We would like to inform you that your recent replacement order has been cancelled as we have noticed an unwarranted return, which do not comply with our Returns Policy."

The man later was quoted as saying, "I have been getting varied answers whenever I complain about the wrong delivery. In a mail sent by representatives of the e-commerce company, they even threatened to block my order if I took this issue to the social media. I am planning to take help of a consumer forum if this problem is not addressed soon."
