Eminent Journalist K Satyanarayana bags Hermaan Mogling lifetime achievement award

Eminent Journalist K Satyanarayana has been awarded Hermaan Mogling lifetime achievement award 2017 for his outstanding contribution to the field of Journalism and society in large.

Satyanarayana will be honoured by KJ George, Minister for Bengaluru Development and Town Planning for his service to journalism at a glittering ceremony on Saturday, 12th August at Radission Blu Atria Hotel, Bengaluru.

The Award to be presented every year starting from 2017, will comprise a certificate, medallion with the embossed image of Mogling and cash prize or rupees one lakh.

The Bengaluru Urban District Union of Working Journalist (BUWJ) has instituted the Hermaan Mogling Life Time Achievement Award to recognise the works of a journalist from Karnataka selected by an eminent Jury.

Satyanaraya, senior journalist from Kannada Prabha, Kannada daily was chosen from about 20 shortlisted journalists who have done exemplary work in Karnataka.

The event will be attended by Actress Ragini Diwedi and also saw heavy weight participation from motivational gurus, celebrities, top politicians, senior journalists and bureaucrats.
