Election 2014: Highlights of Narendra Modi's speech in Bihar

Modi
Patna, March 10: BJP's prime ministerial nominee addressed a rally at Purnia in Bihar on Monday, March 10. Modi's rally at the historic Ranbhoomi Ground was significant for the district and its adjoining areas are home to a big minority population. At least 2 lakh people reportedly attended the rally.

Here are the highlights of his speech:

  • Dream of becoming PM forced Nitsh Kumar to break JD(U)-BJP alliance
  • Nitish Kumar thinks so highly of himself, it is higher than Everest.. feels nothing is possible without him
  • Parties in third front- their parties have either supported Congress or saved them. And there are former PMs & those who dream to be PM
  • Third Front is silent over communal violence in Uttar Pradesh. They speak out when poll bugle is sounded
  • Our politics is about coalitions. We need to accept it. Every coalition where we are part of as leaders, the coalition is successful
  • BJP is not going to the people only to form a government. We have come to the people to give stability & development oriented Govt
  • Bihar wanted freedom from the Jungle Raj. Today again there is Jungle Raj over India..people of Bihar must show the way & free us form it
  • It is not that they are spoiling today's Bihar. So immersed in votebank politics they are that playing with your future
  • Bihar needs to be free from terror and Naxalism but he is not interested as it comes in the way of his votebank politics
  • Gujarat's secularism is true secularism...it works for every section of society. Lets move ahead with the Mantra of development
