Drunk Russian diplomat rams into bike, roughs up police

New Delhi, Dec 9: In a case of drunken driving late last night in New Delhi, a Russian diplomat rammed his car into a biker, injuring two. When asked to stop, the diplomat tried to speed fast and hit the police barricade.

Moreover, he refused to come out of the car and is said to have punched and abused the policemen.

One of the bikers said,""He was so intoxicated that he could not control the car and he was practically unconscious.

He was driving really fast and was unable to stop. His car is so badly damaged and this is proof of how hard he rammed into the police barricade. When the police tried to get him out of the car, he refused to do so.

Apart from the biker, the Russian diplomat too incurrred injuries as he was bleeding heavily from the nose. He was later taken by one of his friends. Meanwhile, the police has spoken to the Russian Embassy and is contemplating legal action.
